Toi Toi Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2011
Spritely light wine, an easy-drinking and relaxing style (afternoons or early courses) with good tangy Sauvignon Blanc characters. A nicely complete wine, racy enough to be cleansing, flavoursome to be satisfying and a fine Marlborough statement.
Toi Toi Brookdale Reserve Marlborough Pinot Gris 2011
A dry style, nicely intense and opening further through 2012, a tasty all-purpose Pinot Gris from a single vineyard. Versatile with food flavours, a widely appealing style, serious for the enthusiast and very drinkable for those newer to wine. No hurry for two more years.
Toi Toi Unoaked Chardonnay 2011
A tidy, fresh wine, good Chardonnay fruit characters and some personality. A young wine, full of flavour which will open out well through 2012 and beyond and hold 'fine dining' status for a couple of years after that.
Toi Toi Reserve Riesling 2011
Quite strongly flavoured for New Zealand Riesling, youthful and opening up yet with the spine and character showing already as a fragrant, near-dry style. Very nice drinking into 2014. Great with food from the sea, cold meat salads and as an aperitif.
